Brian Gavin

I am a Photojournalist with Press 22 Photographic Agency, which is based in Limerick for over 28 years
I won News Photographer of the year in 2009 with a Picture of Bishop of Limerick Donal Murray pictured at a Press Conference about the Murphy Report on clerical child sex abuse in the Dublin Diocese was Released and later the Bishop Resigned his position over the report. I also won 1st place in the People Award with my picture of Dan and Biddy Buckley photographed at home in January 2003 who had no heating over the Christmas and New Year.
