A native of Tinehaly, County Wicklow, and supporter of Liverpool Football Team, Matt now lives in Hacketstown Co Carlow with wife Joanne and daughter Leah and sun Scott , I has been a staff member of Sportsfile since 1997. Since then I has covered three Ryder Cups, seven international rugby tours, one Lyons tout to Australia two Rugby World Cups, numerous Five and Six Nations Rugby Championships, Horse Racing, World Cup and European Soccer games and much more. I am also a regular at the GAAwhere I covered many Football and Hurling game and All-Ireland Finals. I has won four AIB PPAI Awards.
