The remains of former Taoiseach, Charles J. Haughey, en route to his final resting place, in Sutton.
Judges' Citation: The photographer selected an unusual angle, and location point, of a major national event to get an excellent photograph. The image is sombre and reverent yet conveys in a single image how so much has changed in Ireland. It was a very difficult and risky decision to wait for this shot and it worked. It is really well executed.
