8 July 2011 Taoiseach opens exhibition in Ballina

Taoiseach Enda Kenny officially opened the AIB Photojouralism Awards 2011 exhibition in Ballina, Co. Mayo last Friday. Speaking to the large gathering he praised the excellence of the photographs on show. On behalf of the association, treasurer Billy Higgins presented An Taoiseach with a framed copy of his photo Eeny Meeny Miny Moe which was taken after the announcement of the new Fine Gael front bench last year and Peter Green, Regional Director, AIB presented Mr. Kenny with a copy of our book Beyond the Moment.
Among the attendance were Photographer of the Year Mark Condren, award winner David Farrell, Dermot O’Shea and Henry Wills who once again excelled himself as MC on the night.
The event was hosted by branch manager Seamus Cronin while Declan O’Callaghan, Head of Branch Channels and Brenda Moriarty, Head of Brand Management were also present.
